This is going to be the first year that I can take my daughter out trick or treating and I am so excited. Not discussed with the wife what she will be dressed up as yet but I have a few ideas. Has anyone got any thoughts?

Hay Mike. My daughter went out as a vampire last year because of Twilight. I guess from what you are saying that she will be too young for that, so I would go with a kids tv character. It doesn’t have to be Halloween related don’t forget.

If it’s her first Halloween she has to get into the spirit of things with something related to the holiday. It makes me sick seeing all these random costumes out on the streets. Stay on topic and go with a costume that is appropriate. A witch or demon are easy choices.

Im avoiding all the super hero stuff this year, it will be waaaaayyyy too popular. A scream mask after Scream 4 came out might be too obvious aswell. Best start making an undead zombie costume with some old clothes.

Being an Aussie Halloween isn’t all that big over here, although the marketing gurus are trying to make it more popular, We do get a few kids that knock on the door but to date I have never seen an adult dressed up for Halloween. Maybe if I had some women dressed up in sexy costumes I could learn to like the experience a whole lot more.

I saw this amazing scrabble dress costume the other day on a squidoo lens and it was better than any Halloween stuff ive seen in a long, long time. Maybe something different like that will get me noticed this year, hope so!
